In March we designed Ursula and Gordon's wedding at Swaneset. It was a beautiful, elaborate wedding with a unique floor plan which suited the layout of Swaneset perfectly. The head table was a grand, tuscany style table with 40 guests, in the centre of the room in front of the gorgeous, large windows. Summer of 2012 we designed Chiara and David's wedding at beautiful Hart House. Chiara was a lot of fun to work with as she was very passionate about the planning process for her wedding and all the details involved. The design was soft and pretty with a vintage, garden flair. In March, we designed Cathy and Rudy's wedding at South Bonson Hall. They were such a lovely couple and we were thrilled to be a part of their special day. We created a sophisticated and romantic ambience for them with our stunning, custom acrylic candelabras adorned with fresh floral centrepieces and candles. The soft, neutral colours and classic, elegant design complimented the hall beautifully!
Wedding Design Studio travelled to Black Rock Resort in Ucluelet to design a wedding on Dec 1st. Our Bride, Jenna & her Mom, Lynne, were a joy to work with. We arrived Friday, began set up, finished the Ceremony and fresh florals on Saturday, then clean up Sunday morning and back to the Lower Mainland.
The resort was amazing. The staff, food and rooms were second to none. I would definitely recommend a trip to Black Rock Resort!
The wedding design was soft and romantic with candle light and crystals. Perfect for a wedding on the West Coast of Vancouver.

We designed a gorgeous wedding for Anais & Anthony, at a beautiful home in West Vancouver on the water. After some lack luster weather in June, we had an outstanding, beautiful day for this event!

Urban Suburban Vendor Social was a big hit! The weather was absolutely perfect for our backyard vendor party. We had people coming and going until midnight. This includes Camille and Chadwick from Jonetsu Photography who rolled in around ten-thirty in the evening. It was so nice to see them both, it has been far too long! A "big" thank you, Brian Noppe, for showing up at eleven at night! Only you would do that! But we love you anyways!

Christie & Alex were married at Swaneset just a short week ago. Their wedding was absolutely stunning. Wedding Design Studio worked together with the happy bride and groom-to-be to design a wedding with a backdrop of cream and white brocade fabrics, candles, and fabulous royal purple-blue flowers. The bridesmaids were in periwinkle blue-purple. The headtable was dressed in white, so the bridesmaid dresses popped against the neutral backdrop. It was the perfect combination, as shown in the photos below! Let us know what you think.
Laura and Curtis were married earlier this month at Rowena's Inn on the River. Their wedding was designed with colors of dove grey, white and cream. A real coastal feel, which combined sand, birch wood, river rock, and hydrangae to set the tone of a warm and cozy wedding under the Rowena's tent. The design was one that we will never forget, as it was unique and timeless.

I can't even begin to tell you how happy I was with everything you did for
our wedding last weekend. You brought my vision to life, and exceeded every
expectation I had! My head table was STUNNING...the hydrangeas and the
lanterns and the birch were perfection, I had so many compliments on the
whole decor and theme, and I have you to thank for all of it!
When I first started planning my wedding, you guys were on the very top of
my list of vendors I had to have, and I was so comfortable leaving my ideas
in your hands. I appreciate all of the advice and guidance you gave us
along the way as well, you were so helpful and not only did you put me at
ease, you put my mother at ease.....which is no easy task!!! Your
creativity and passion are infectious, and your talent is beyond words, I
will be singing your praises for a very long time, and recommending you to
everyone!

Kaleigh and Nolan's design incorporated dramatic elements of black, burgundy, and silver, which complimented Kaleigh's gorgeous long, dark hair. The couple were childhood sweethearts and were wonderful to work with! We also had the privilege of working again with Heidi of Cakelicious! Enjoy the following sneak peek from this fabulous wedding. Calsie and Jordan were married this past March at Westwood Plateau. Their design was a mix of fuscia, platinum, black and white. It was elegant and very wonderfully chosen. Ameris Photography captured this wedding beautifully, thank you for all your hard work! We love working with you!
